My name is Dr Kate Molnar and I am an Emergency Physician at both The Wollongong Hospital and Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital in the Shoalhaven and Illawarra region of NSW, Australia. I trained in the UK and worked there for 5 years as an emergency medicine trainee before I moved out to Australia, enjoying the lifestyle so much I enrolled in the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and completed my training here.
I have keen interest in paediatric emergency medicine and teaching our junior medical officers throughout their stages of emergency medicine training.
I am also involved in the work based assessments program, for the Australian Medical Council for international medical graduates currently working in our district, a role I find very rewarding.
I live in the Shoalhaven with my family, which includes two pet goats and a dog!
