Dr. Thomas Georgeson

Thomas graduated from the University of NSW in 2007 and is an emergency physician at The Canberra Hospital with subspeciality training in paediatric emergency medicine. He trained at several adult and paediatric hospitals in Australia as well as spending some time
working in the UK in the NHS. He completed an emergency medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital Westmead in 2019.
Thomas’ particular interest is to improve the delivery of care to paediatric emergency patients in the Canberra region based on evidence and best practice.
Outside of work he is an amateur cyclist and astronomer and loves gardening (or more often generating incredible amounts of mud) in the backyard with his 3 year old son.
