Dr Yashvi Wimalasena is a specialist in Emergency Medicine (EM) and Retrieval in NSW Australia working in both the hospital and prehospital setting. After completing EM training in 2012 he took his skills to the pre-hospital environment and undertook a Retrieval fellowship with the Emergency Medical Retrieval Service (EMRS) in Scotland. Prior to embarking on his Australian adventure, he worked as a locum consultant at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW).His interests include Apnoeic Oxygenation, Emergency airway management, Lung Ultrasound, High Altitude pathology.
